Lightweight Materials, CNC and Prototyping: Building Better Drones

Weight drives everything in a drone: flight time, payload and battery size. The right materials and a fast prototype loop give you a lighter, tougher airframe.
Pick materials by job
Carbon fiber for long stiff arms. Printed titanium lattice for complex joints. Machined 7075 aluminum for motor mounts and anything that must hold a thread.

Prototype in short loops
Print a fit check part, fly it, measure it, fix it. Each loop takes days, not months, and the design is ready for CNC when it stops changing.
Move to CNC for production
Once frozen, parts go to five axis CNC with fixtures and first article inspection so every unit matches the approved drawing.
